Description
Hédène fir honey is harvested in the Gérardmer Forest, in East Vosges, at the heart of one of the most beautiful pinewoods of France. The very noble taste wavers between woody, ripe fruits and maple syrup overtones. It is a rare honey, enhanced by a dark color and a liquid texture, lightly syrupy. In addition to that, it is a very aromatic honey with light resin scents. Its flavor is sweet with a long-lasting taste.
Fir honey comes from an irregular nectar production, which might happen all over summer. Its harvest is unpredictable as nectar flow can be abundant or nearly nonexistent.
TASTING ADVICE – BREAKFAST
Hédène fir honey can replace jam on slices of bread and sugar in tea or hot milk. In fact, it is a liquid honey with refined overtones, perfect for a tonic waking. Just a spoonful of Hédène fir honey in the morning will brighten up your day!
