Ingredients
  • 6 apples
  • 1 puff pastry
  • 2 tablespoons Ardennes alfalfa honey
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 25 grams semi-salted butter
Steps
  • Peel all the apples and cut 3 into small squares. Cut the other 3 into thin wedges (to put on top).
  • Put the butter in a frying pan and add the apples cut into squares. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring often and adding the brown sugar at the same time, sprinkling it over the apples. The apples will then turn a golden colour. Add the honey. Cover and leave to melt for 5 minutes.
  • Place in a bowl and mash to make the compote for the tart base. In the same frying pan, brown the apple quarters in the butter. Prick with a fork.
  • Put the compote on top. Add the apple quarters as shown in the photo.
  • Fold the edges of the tart over.
  • Bake for 15 minutes at 200°C.
